I’m Paul. Nice to meet you.
As you have probably noticed you are on my personal website and this page that you are on right now is dedicated to my story.
I'm not extremely proud of myself and I don't feel special. But I'm not rejecting the possibility that someone could be interested in me. You could be my client, potential partner, friend or just a random guy or gal from the internet. Since you are already here, I'm making an assumption that you want to find out who I am.
I am a simple person. At least that's how I see myself. I believe that what you give, you get back. If you help someone, one day that person will return you a favor. We’re all different and have different goals and abilities but some basics can be implemented for everyone. Focus, hard work, curiosity, open mind and kindness is the way to go. Constant learning is what keeps me mentaly alive.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.
In order to fully understand me as I am now, we have to start from the very beginning.
I was born in Eurpean country called Lithuania. I grew up as a shy kid. I was very into collecting, geography and encyclopedias but not that much into socializing. I knew almost all capital cities of every country in the world, population and area sizes of every Europe’s and majority of Asia’s countries and even made sorting lists of all that data on MS Excel all by myself… At the age of 8… But I couldn't hold an eye contact with anyone.
I always had fantasy and curiosity which led me into exploring my environment from young age. Most of the time I was playing alone, day dreaming about being a king and leading my kingdom into victories. I had a few good friends and overall had an awesome childhood thanks to my parents.
In high school I got into RPG gaming and started spending majority of my time in front of computer screen and living the online life. At the age of 12, I got into Photoshop and started developing my first internet projects which was dog lovers community, gaming portals and forums. And from then on, I fell in love with graphic and web design. At the age of 13, I joined local and international GFX (graphics) communities, started participating in competitions, became administrator and moderator of two biggest Lithuanian GFX forums. At the age of 14, I’ve started earning my first money online from web design and logos competitions, later even sold a few internet projects, learned html, php, css and got into web development. But all that slowly stopped after finding new friends when I was 14. And from then, new period of my life started.
I started spending most of my free time with my peers and they influenced my behaviour a lot. Cigarettes, alcohol, pot smoking and just slacking around became my daily activities. I’ve stopped learning and my grades at school got worse. From the age of 14 till 17 all I did was spending time with my friends, watching movies and tv series. I realised that I don't want to live like that anymore, so gradually I stopped interacting with my old peers. When I was 17, I completely gave up smoking, got into personal development and joined local gym. And that was first huge and very important transformation in my life.
The more progress I saw at the gym, the more I got into fitness and bodybuilding. Transforming body transformed my mind as well. Thanks to sport, I started gaining confidence and finally started loving myself. Bodybuilding helped me to develop most important parts of my current mindset – visualisation, focus, hard work and always moving forward.
Reading also played a part in my personal development. Role models like Steve Jobs, Anthony Robbins, Tim Ferriss showed me a way of life that I've never thought of before – a way of high achievers.
Eventually I got back into technology and simple programming, started a few new internet projects. After gymnasium I entered technology university and studied computer science. Just after that the most interesting and exciting part of my life started. It's called designing your life and taking back your destiny.
After realising that I have full control over my life and I can get the outcomes to my favor, I did one thing. One thing that completely turned my life around.
When I was 19 years old, I wrote down how I want my life to look like in 10 years. It included most important areas of life: Health, Purpose, Social Life, Finances, Appearance, Relationships, Adventures, Intelligence. I divided it into specific bullet points and started doing research how I can achieve each one of them. That was my first action plan that led to major changes in my life.
Just a few months after I founded my first company, adopted a plant based diet and completely gave up alcohol. After a year of studying, I decided to drop out and focus on building my business.
After a year of business developing, my company called GentleHair grew from Lithuania based first men’s hairstyling e-shop into international Europe leading e-shop. We started distributing hairstyling products to salons, barbershops and other e-shops worldwide. Our fan base grew through Youtube and other social media platforms. Our Youtube and Instagram subscriber count reached 15k each, which is pretty impressive for such a niche project. I became one of the most famous “Cut your own hair” youtubers and started developing GoCutYourHair online course. From 2015, I started other fashion business, worked as a business and marketing consultant in other businesses and as web-development, graphic and web design freelancer.
Never try to hide your real personality. The charisma you have may feed you in the future.
On 2016 I moved to Denmark and started studying marketing management. During the last years I found out my two biggest passions – helping people and building online businesses.
Working as online business and marketing consultant gave me an opportunity to contribute to many great ideas becoming reality and experiencing rapid growth. But I realised that working with everyone directly would limit my potential impact that I could make. That's why I decided to start a project dedicated to helping people to start a successful online businesses from scratch to profit or improve an existing one to generate more profit.
Also I have a passion for writing. I am a tech blogger and you can find some of my posts on Alpha Online Business blog. But also I love to write about various different topics and I dedicated my personal blog to that.
There I reflect on events happening in my life and in the world.
There I write for my own pleasure.
My blog is a mash of business, life hacking, personal development, philosophy, productivity and much more.
My opinions sometimes may seem contravertial but don't get me wrong – I'm not here to put you down but to start a discussion and open up your minds to new ideas instead. Everyone is different and sees the world in different angle. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to agree on everything and you don't have to, we can still be friends. But please respect other opinions – that's the only thing that I'm demanding. After all, it's my blog and I share anything that I want there.
In future I am aiming to scale my companies, get even more entrepreneurial experience, expand my network all over the globe and continue helping others by sharing knowledge that I have. I hope you will join me on this journey and we will go on this path together. I’m always looking for like minded people and I’m open for new connections. Let's connect on LinkedIn, subscribe to my newsletter if you want to keep up with my blog posts and new projects.
